OrganizationsVision Council![]() The Vision Council is comprised of members from each of the three parishes, Holy Family, Queen of Apostles, and Our Lady of Carter Lake. The Vision Council establishes parish-wide goals, establishes policies and programs that foster the well-being of the parish and the community. They provide direction for the spiritual development of the three parishes. They meet the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM Council of Catholic WomenAltar and Rosary SocietyThe purpose of the Council of Catholic Women is to unite women of the parish through spiritual and social activities and to assist the pastor in meeting the material needs of the parish and the rectory. Its responsibilities include providing items for the church and rectory as well as organizing and overseeing funeral luncheons. Parishioners are contacted on a rotating basis to provide salads and cakes for funeral luncheons. Volunteers help serve at funeral dinners. Meetings are held from September through May on an as-needed basis. All women of the parish are members of this organization Knights of Columbus![]() Our Lady Queen of Apostles Knights of Columbus - (KC's) Council #10805 had its beginnings in 1992 with 32 members. Today there are 178. Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all Catholic men over the age of 18. The purpose of the KC's is to provide spiritual growth for its members, and opportunities for service to the parish and to the larger community. The Knights are very active with pancake breakfasts to benefit various needs of the parish and community, blood drives, wheelchair ramps for those in need of them, Pro-Life activities, the sale of Tootsie Rolls for the mentally handicapped and the Special Olympics, as well as maintenance around the church and grounds. Meeting Times The Knights of Columbus meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month in the church at 6:15 for the rosary followed by mass at 6:30pm. The meeting is at 7:00pm in the social hall. Go GettersThe Go-Getters meet once a month usually on a Tuesday for a time of social gathering. Anyone 55 or over is invited to join in the fun.
